LifeHackLiza tip 6/17/13 - Clothes Schedules


I schedule my outfits in advance (in an Excel document)...
I'm not ashamed to admit this!

It saves me SO much time. It may be a little OCD, but so many life hacks are!

Here's an example:

Monday: 
New black blazer, cream lace cami, black leggings, nude pumps, chunky white bead necklace

Tuesday:
Green cardigan, white Old Navy cami, brown capris, canvas wedges, gold flower necklace

Wednesday:
Grey ruffle Express button down, black flare work pants, black pumps, silver heart necklace

Thursday:
Black t-shirt, red scarf, purple Jcrew pants, red leather flats, silver hoop earrings

Friday:
Purple Limited tee, skinny leg light blue jeans

(I don't always plan jewelry, but sometimes I find pieces I haven't worn in a while and like to jot them down.)

Of course, sometimes I'm not in the mood for a certain outfit and simply switch things around with some arrows. Every season, I go into my excel file and make some minor modifications if I've gotten new clothes and/or given old clothes away.

Overall, this is a really good way to keep inventory of your wardrobe.

LifeHackLiza tip 6/3/13 - Working out in the bathroom?


Good morning!

How was your shower this fine AM? 
If it left something to be desired, how about trying a new bathroom routine life hack tomorrow...

Shower calf raises and toothbrush squats!



As much as I try, it's hard to cut down bathroom/getting ready time in the morning.
For me, one time saver is a few exercises tossed into the mix. (I'm not kidding around here.)

Call me crazy (my coworkers do!), but do you ever get bored waiting for your conditioner to set in? How about two sets of 50 calf raises? 

And, don't you feel like one-two minutes of brushing your teeth (or just drying your hair) lasts forever? Well, 120 seconds is a generous amount of time to get in some SQUATS or a wall sit!

(I'm not talking about this kind of bathroom squatting!)
