LifeHackLiza tip 8/5/13 - Packing just the essentials

Is this your suitcase?

Do you sit on your suitcase to get it to shut?
(I definitely used to!)

For my last trip, I decided it's finally time to travel lighter...
We took a tropical trip for 5 days and I wore almost everything I brought!

I packed:

* 3 dressy dresses
* 2 pairs flip flops
* 2 pairs sandals (one dressy)
* 2 sleep shirts and 2 sleep pants
* 3 pairs shorts
* 2 sundresses
* 1 sarong
* 2 bathing suits
* 6 t-shirts (anticipating a few workouts)
* underthings (just enough!)
* jewelry: 4 necklaces, 5 pairs earrings (this was tough for me!)

Next trip, I'm thinking about getting these cute travel cubes from Amazon:
